Rate of Reaction

Rate of reaction is defined as the change in the amount of reactants or products in a chemical reaction per unit time. It means ‘how fast is the reaction’ or 'the speed of the reaction'.

  • Fast Reaction ---- High rate
  • Slow Reaction ---- Low rate
